FibrePros was established in 1995 in partnership with SuperVision U.S.A. FibrePros was the first fibre optic lighting company to set up in the U.A.E. Quite simply, we're industry pioneers.
FibrePros have created stunning panoramic constellations in the lofty heights of the world's biggest shopping Mall, our SideGlow cable has adorned landmark guitars at the Hard Rock Cafe's first flagship in the Middle East, we have illuminated priceless museum artifacts, our lighting systems cascade, and sparkle across the regions swimming pools. We do fibre optics and we do it very well.
FibrePros offer an extensive range of internal and external LED light sources, the highest quality Mitsubish Japanese fibre optic cable available, and exquisite end fittings. Our lighting systems are built on the foundations of technical expertise.
We've built a lasting reputation on how we operate as a business due to our honesty and scrupulousness to see out every task to the highest level. Our ultimate priority is always with the client and this is instilled throughout our team.
It's imperative that our company sees out any task to the highest order. We uphold quality as our main value, whether that's the product, supply chain or how we install it. Our aim is to always surpass our clients expectations.
We take responsibility in our stride. It's essential for our team to always accept the ethos 'if it's meant to be, it's up to me'. We pride ourselves on transparency with our clients and customers.
Admittedly, we’re a little obsessed with fibre optics, and for good reason. They’re durable, versatile, and a relatively simple way to add magnificent lighting effects to virtually anything. Their adaptability and resistance to the elements make them the perfect addition to all conditions, both inside and out-think; saunas, pools, domes, the possibilities are endless. Take a look at the gallery subsection above to see some of the places you can add a touch of illumination too.
What makes fibre optics so special is the variation. They come in wide ranges of diameter, shape, types and colour which we specify to your every need. Whether your bathroom deserves to look like the starry night of Oman’s desert or your pool needs to replicate a tropical ocean.
How it works is simple, Fibre optic lighting uses optical fibre transmitting light from a source through the fibre to a remote location. The light may be emitted from the end of the fibre creating a small spotlight effect called end glow or emitted from the outside along its length, looking like neon or a fluorescent tube side glow. The light source is a bright light and often some optics to efficiently focus light into the fibre. Quartz halogen or xenon metal halide lights are commonly used but we found that LEDs are more reliable, longer-lasting and they have more functions such as; colour changing, dimming and much wider control capability when using a DMX.
